The renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer Bimota officially launched the KB4RC. A striking blend of vintage café racer aesthetics and cutting-edge MotoGP-inspired engineering. Unveiled at the Osaka Motorcycle Show, the KB4RC represents Bimota’s commitment to craftsmanship and performance under Kawasaki’s stewardship.
At the heart of the KB4RC lies a 1,043cc inline-four engine, derived from Kawasaki’s Ninja 1000SX. This motor delivers 142 horsepower and 111 Nm of torque. This powerplant is complemented by a suite of advanced electronics, including a TFT display with mobile connectivity, providing riders with a modern interface to manage the bike’s capabilities.
The Bimota KB4RC’s design pays homage to classic café racers while incorporating modern aerodynamic elements. Its aggressive lines, carbon fiber finishes, and distinctive #4 emblazoned on the sides reflect a MotoGP influence. The bike’s chassis features a tubular steel frame paired with an aluminum swingarm, ensuring rigidity and agility. Öhlins suspension components and Brembo brakes further enhance its performance credentials, offering precise handling and stopping power.
Attention to detail is evident throughout the KB4RC. Hand-assembled and painted by Italian artisans, the motorcycle boasts OZ aluminum wheels and a genuine leather seat. The radiator’s unconventional placement under the seat not only contributes to the bike’s compact profile but also aids in achieving optimal weight distribution.
With a dry weight of approximately 194 kg and a seat height of 810 mm, the KB4RC offers a balanced and accessible riding experience. Its compact dimensions, including a 1,390 mm wheelbase, contribute to its nimble handling characteristics. This makes it suitable for both spirited rides and everyday use.

Priced around €30,000, the KB4RC is positioned as a premium offering in the motorcycle market. While it may not be readily available in all regions, enthusiasts seeking a distinctive blend of classic design and modern performance will find the KB4RC to be a compelling choice.
